  • Your private guide will pick you up at 8:00am from any lodge along Highway 120 or at one of our pre-determined meeting locations.
  • Once your guide determines your experience and your key interests for your requested tour, they will customize a personalized hiking adventure with the goal of exceeding all your expectations
  • When it's time for lunch, your guide will find a scenic and relaxing location to enjoy your backpackers lunch
  • Your guide will drop you off at your pick up location after your tour is complete

Once atop North Dome at 7,543 feet you will become overwhelmed by the commanding views of the North face of Half Dome and the beautiful granitic features of Clouds Rest, Quarter Domes, Mt Watkins and John Muir's favorite waterfall, Illilouette Falls!  You’ll enjoy a bird’s eye view of the glacier carved Yosemite Valley and an unobstructed panorama of Yosemite’s High Country.

This mellow and scenic trail is the perfect introduction to hiking your first section of the Pacific Crest Trail, which famously travels from the Mexican border to Canada. Your experienced hiking guide will lead you along this versatile subalpine terrain that plays host to very little elevation gain, spectacular wildflower displays and many back country swimming opportunities.
